Bisericuta din Bai Deal / Little church

RO

EN

I often passed the road in the valley that led to a small village of 200 souls, to break the hills with my mtb and every time I turned to the west I would see a bright star on a hill.

It was the Church in Bai Deal, small as a child but with an infinite soul, the silence that surrounds you the first time you step there is divine. In any season the church is unique, enveloped in fog, clouds, sunlight, snow, even when the wind blows, it is a special melody that I have only encountered here.

Depending on the mood you are in, you can observe it in silence from the adjacent hills, especially at sunset, or approach it on foggy days or before sunrise.

Often the fog comes before sunrise, driven through the valleys directly from Mures, sometimes warm, sometimes cold, until the first rays of the sun are distinguished.

The location is perfect for both daytime and nighttime photography, being hidden from the city lights. In summer, after sunset, the whole area takes on a scent of summer flowers, of freshly turned hay, keeping your senses awake and the sky is a magical story that is revealed to you.

It is mandatory that in addition to your photography equipment, you bring a sun lounger and a cooler because time will pass by unnoticed.

From time to time, you run to turn on the lights in the alley so that the jackals don't make their presence nearby, otherwise nothing stops you from having an evening of billions of stars...
